In 1972, Nando Parrado and his rugby teammates were traveling to Chile, and their flight never arrived at its destination; it tragically crashed at 18,000 feet in the Cordillera de los Andes.
In the two-and-a-half months that followed, his life was changed completely. Nando made a superhuman effort, survived for 72 days, and found his way out of the Andes, after an 11-day snowy trek through the mountains with his friend.
His message after sharing his remarkable story is simple: Be present, as it's all you have, yesterday is gone, and you don't know what's going to happen tomorrow. Nando is the CEO of six companies.
